Shrikhand is a popular, classic, thick and delectable Indian yoghurt sweet commonly known all over India especially in the state of Maharashtra. It is one of the prime sweet delicacies from the Maharashtrian cuisines made with hung & strained yoghurt flavoured with saffron , cardamom any many more.

Ingredients for Shrikhand Recipe

  • 83.33 gm hung curd
  • 1/25 cup Powdered sugar (or as per sweetness)
  • 0.08 tsp Cardamom powder
  • A Pinch Saffron (soaked in little milk)
  • As Required Pistachio chopped
  • As Required Almonds chopped

Directions: Shrikhand Recipe

  • STEP 1.First take hung curd in a mixing bowl, sieve powdered sugar and whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • STEP 2.Now add saffron milk, cardamom powder and whisk again.
