Tequila is undoubtedly the wilder of all the alcohols out there. Though you opt for “the salt, shot and lime”  method, a cocktail is just a more sophisticated choice. Tequila cocktails are abundant and easy to make.
A general rule of thumb with tequila is to play with the flavours. Literally, nothing is off-limits. Mix salty with sweet, citrusy with salty or bring together all of them for a burst of flavour. Tequila cocktails usually call for a cocktail shaker, so make sure to have one on hand, along with loads of lemons and glasses.
Here are 3 cocktails you’ll want to say “give me more” to:

Tequila Sunrise

Yes, this is the same cocktail Shawn Mendes mentioned in his song Señorita. And it’s as good as the song, maybe even better.
You’ll need ice, 2 shots of tequila, 1 tbsp of triple sec, orange juice and lime. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker, and then shake, strain and pour. Put a little umbrella on the drink and you have a Tequila Sunrise.

Rosita

This vibrant pink drink will become your next best friend. It’s like the Negroni, just tequila in love with gin. So, if you like Negroni, you’ll love this.
You’ll need 2 shots of tequila, 2 tbsp of Campari, 3 tbsp of red vermouth, ice and instead of a cocktail shaker you would need a tall spoon.
In a long glass, add the liquids and then a bunch of ice. With the spoon, stir the liquids and ice until everything is well combined and the glass is cold to the touch.

Tequila Delight

This is the perfect combination of a mojito and margarita. It’s got the edge of mojito and the salty kick from the margarita. To make this, you need to acquire 1/4 cup of mint leaves, 1/8 cup of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of simple syrup, 2 shots of tequila, lime wheel fir garnish and soda to top the entire thing.
In a cocktail shaker, add all the ingredients with ice and shake. You can remove the excess mint leaves and strain. Pour into a glass with more ice, garnish with mint and enjoy.
