"Samke Harra'' in Arabic means spicy fish which is a popular specialty of the port city of Tripoli El-Mina in northern Lebanon.
Samke Harra is usually made for auspicious occasions and family gatherings. It consists of roasted fish served with walnuts and hot tahini sauce.

1 large fish
1 cup of tahini (sesame paste)
6 garlic minced cloves
¼ cup of roasted almonds and pine nuts ( peeled and sliced )
½ cup of crushed walnuts
2 cups of water
1 thinly sliced green pepper
2 tsp of diced hot pepper
1 cup of lemon juice
Salt and mixed spices to taste
1 cup of finely chopped coriander
