As we know 'Food' is our base and works as a fuel. What we put into our bodies is important and makes a big difference. That’s why everyone should practice clean eating in their lives.

What Is Clean Eating?

“Clean eating” is not related to diet but it is an eating style that emphasizes the quality of the foods you eat. The simplest and most affordable clean foods are fruits and vegetables, especially the really nutritious ones like leafy greens, berries, and citrus fruits. If you are into clean eating, you don’t need to restrict yourself from eating a certain type of food. Here are the basic principles to keep in mind:

Basic principles of clean eating:

Choose whole food

Choose whole foods that are minimally processed or unprocessed and contain no added sugar, salt, or preservatives.

Cook your own food

When you cook your own food, you have full control over your ingredients and you can be sure that your meals are really clean. Cooking yourself also helps you avoid foods that claim to be healthy but lack important nutrients.

Eat five to six times a day

Eating small meals at least five to six times a day will prevent you from skipping meals and overeating.

Get into physical exercise

Eating can do no good unless you don’t get into regular exercise. Physical exercise helps in reducing fat, building muscle, and helps you burn more energy during rest.

Add carbs and protein to your diet

A balanced diet is absolutely important in clean eating. Pay attention while preparing meals for yourself, make sure to combine carbs, protein, and fats equally in your diet.

Eat clean, feel clean!
