Walnut Apple Kheer

Ingredients:

  • 3 cup milk (low fat regular)
  • ½ cup apple (peeled and grated)
  • 5 tbsp walnuts (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp rolled oats

How to make walnut apple kheer?

  1. To make this delicious kheer, take the grated apples in the bowl, add chopped walnuts into the bowl, mix gently and keep this aside.
  2. Now take a kadhai, put it over a medium flame, add milk to it. Bring it to a boil, add oats, stir it, and add grated apple, walnuts, cinnamon, and sugar. Stir to mix the ingredients so well.
  3. Lower the flame, simmer for about 4-7 minutes.
  4. Check the consistency according to what you need. Stir regularly on an interval basis to prevent the milk from sticking to the bottom.
  5. When you achieve consistency, you need to switch off the flame and transfer it into serving bowls.

Moroccan Minced Walnuts On Flatbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp harissa paste
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 100-gram hummus
  • 2 flatbread / regular bread
  • 3 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander (chopped)

How to make Moroccan minced walnut on a flatbread?

  1. Finely chop the walnuts and soak them in lukewarm water for 15-20 minutes after it has drained the water.
  2. Heat the oil in a container, add onions, saute them for 3-5 minutes, add harissa, honey, and stir it.
  3. Now add soaked walnuts, chopped fresh coriander, and cook further for 2-3 minutes.
