What makes this recipe easy is that it only requires two ingredients: cucumber and lemon. Cucumber lemonade is a great way to enjoy your summer and no-hassle since fresh cucumbers and lemons are easily available in this season. 

Here’s how cucumber lemonade can be prepared in 15 minutes. 


  • 1 large cucumber
  • 7-8 lemon
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 cups chilled water 
  • Mint leaves for garnishing


  • First, start with peeling and cutting the cucumber in half. Remove the seeds from the cucumber. 
  • Roughly chop the cucumber and make a puree in a blender. Strain the excess water from the cucumber puree using a fine-mesh sieve.
  • Now, take a saucepan for making sugar syrup. Add water and sugar to a saucepan and heat over medium flame. Cook until the sugar gets dissolved. Turn off the gas and allow it to cool. 
  • Add lemon juice, cucumber puree and chilled water in the sugar syrup.  Shake well.  Taste the lemonade, if it requires more sugar syrup. 
  • Refrigerate the lemonade for 15 minutes and serve chilled. 
  • Use thin lemon slices and mint leaves to garnish. 
  • You can also put the lemon slices, sliced cucumbers, and ice cubes in the glass.

Alternative ingredient: 

  • You can use honey instead of sugar.
  • If you want to make this drink alcoholic, add half a cup of vodka to it. This cucumber lemonade will give a wholesome taste after mixing vodka. 
  • You can also use chia seeds for garnishing. 
  • To make this lemonade extra healthy, add ginger juice to it.  The antioxidants present in ginger can help you with weight loss and hypertension.
