As people are coming up with new innovative ideas to make their food more interesting, you can also hop the bandwagon and know if it is worth the hype or not.  For starters, you can try the viral trend of pancake cereals. You may have had a million pancakes, but these dainty bites will surely make you fall in love with them. 

These pancake cereals are a wholesome meal which can replace your mundane breakfast fare with its stunning nature. The trend of pancake cereal dominated throughout the lockdown, and we aren't ready to say good bye to the cute trend just as yet. These mini pancakes can be doused into milk which can make your first meal in the morning healthier and wholesome. You can easily prepare this yummy food in a jiffy with a handful of ingredients. Additionally, adding some chocolate to it can further help enhance the flavour. So, without further ado here’s the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dairy or non-dairy milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar or as required
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Butter/oil, grease

Preparations:

1. In a bowl add all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt. Mix them well.

2. Then add milk, eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk all the ingredients well. Make sure there aren’t any lumps.

3. Transfer the batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag.

4. Take a non-stick pan, grease it with oil or butter over medium heat. When the pan is hot enough, lower the flame to medium-low.

5. Squeeze a small amount of batter and let it cook for 1-2 minutes. You can use a squeezy bottle to do that as well. Once your mini pancake is cooked, flip to cook the other side as well. Repeat with rest of the batter, you can cook multiple pancakes at once.

6. In a bowl pour cold or warm milk and add the mini pancakes.
