This time we found joy in one of the juiciest seasonal fruits that is watermelon. The fruit helps rejuvenate us during the sweltering weather and it’s not only appetizing to eat but is also loaded with minerals and nutrients that is good for our overall health. Watermelon has a high source of water content that ensures to keep us hydrated, moreover  the presence of antioxidant properties helps to stimulate a better immune system.

Watermelon lemonade mocktail just sounds like a perfect drink to enjoy this season as both of these fruits are rich in vitamin C which will not only refresh you with its hearty flavours but will also boost your immunity that is much needed in summers. Moreover, citrus fruits are known to have revitalizing compounds which is good for skin cells as it will protect you from UV damage as well. So, to enjoy the benefits of this heavenly beverage, here’s the recipe.


• 5 cups seedless watermelon, cubed

• ½ cup fresh lemon juice

• ¼ cup sugar

• ½ cup water

• 3 cups cold water

• 2 cups ice cubes

• 2-3 Mint leaves


1. Take a blender and blend the watermelons until they are well pureed. Then with the help of a mesh strainer squeeze the remaining pulp of the watermelon in a bowl.

2. In a large pitcher add cold water, lemon juice and sugar. Stir them well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

3. After this add the watermelon puree in the concoction and stir it for a couple of minutes with the help of a spoon or stirrer. When everything is mixed add the ice cubes into the mocktail.

4. Lastly, garnish it with mint leaves.

Your heavenly concoction is ready.
