Stuffed potato is a semi-fried dish made up of spices and packed with the stuffing of soft and milky paneer.

  1. 4-5 medium-sized potatoes
  2. 200g paneer
  3. 2-3 Onions
  4. 2 tomatoes
  5. 4-5 kanjus
  6. Bay leaves
  7. 1-2 cloves
  8. Cardamom
  9. 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  10. 2 tablespoon Kasuri methi
  11. Salt
  12. Garam masala
  13. Oil
  14. Half tablespoon black pepper
  15. Coriander leaves

Method of preparation-

  1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker. 
  2. After boiling, peel the potatoes off and cut them from the middle into pieces, scooping out the inner pulp of the potatoes for stuffing.
  3. Heat oil and saute the potatoes in a pan till they turn brownish.
  4. Take another pan and add a paneer. Shallow fry the paneer after adding salt, black pepper, ginger garlic paste and finely chopped coriander leaves. Stir and mix well.
  5. Add the above stuffing of paneer into the potatoes. Also, put some kajus in between.
  6. For making gravy, pour half a cup of water, then add chopped onions and tomatoes into the heated pan with oil. Mix with all the masalas. Saute again and make a fine paste/ gravy.
  7. In the same pan, now mix the stuffed potatoes in the gravy. Then sprinkle it with kasuri methi on top.
  8. Tada! Stuffed potatoes are ready.

Takeaway tip- If you wish to bake instead of frying, bake just the stuffed potatoes without gravy in an oven at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
